Dermal Fillers are injections of gel into the skin that can lift and erase lines and wrinkles. They can be used to contour the face and also to create volume where it is needed most.
They have changed enormously over the last decade and can be tailored to your specific needs, from the finest fillers for dehydrated skin and the smallest of lines, to more lifting and reshaping treatments.
Private Aesthetics use a wide range of clinically safe, “Gold Standard” fillers. These include Juvéderm®, Belotero ®, Restylane ®, and Saypha ®.
We only ever use biodegradable, non-permanent fillers. Most are made of Hyaluronic Acid, a natural component of your skin, which also helps to rejuvenate collagen and elastin and create a more youthful appearance.

What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure where a series of superfine injections of vitamins, minerals and amino acids cocktails are delivered into the mesodermal layer of the skin This infusion of savvy ingredients nourishes and rejuvenates the skin while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, both are essential for skin’s natural elasticity
What can you expect?
Treatment time takes approximately thirty minutes and whilst not painful, it can be slightly uncomfortable so an anaesthetic cream can be used if skin is a little sensitive. With minimal downtime – a little bruising and swelling may occur but it will be short lived and should settle within 24 hours – skin will become more radiant, hydrated, nourished and firmer with an improved texture. A course of 6-8 sessions are advised every two weeks with maintenance treatments 1-2 times a year. As part of the treatment we will include a bespoke rejuvenating face mask infused with Hyaluronic Acid or Green Tea and Aloe Vera which calms and further stimulates the skin.

Treatment Botulinum Toxin A is a prescription-only medicine which can only be obtained following medical assessment by a qualified prescriber. What To Expect?
Botulinum Toxin A is prescribed and administered by a series of injections of small amounts of solution via a fine needle so that any discomfort is minor and short-lived. Slight swelling and redness settles within half an hour or so. Lines and wrinkles diminish as a result of the Botulinum Toxin effect on the specific muscles whose repeated movements have caused them. The effects of treatment start after a few days and are complete within two weeks; benefits of treatment will last usually for 3 or 4 months. Repeated treatments at 3-4 monthly intervals will give optimum results over the long term – both in terms of preventing wrinkle formation but also by allowing remodelling of skin to occur so that any fixed creases will improve over time. Quite commonly after a series of treatments the effects last longer, so quite a number of our patients only need treatment twice a year.
Medical Peels prescribed and delivered by doctors and nurses delivers deeper fibre remodelling, to reduce lines and wrinkles and plump up the skin, for a much more sustained youthful look. Enerpeel® provides us with range of several options. The differing depths of peel can be selected according to the conditions/issues being tackled and the desired results. The Enerpeel® range is attractive as the treatments offer clients the benefits of a deeper peel without the usual side-effects. The chemical agents in the peel penetrate the skin before they are activated, a process which minimises side-effects in the outer layer of the skin (epidermis) while maximising the benefit to the deeper layers. After treatment, the skin will look younger and fresher. Using our in-depth knowledge of skin and the capabilities of our favourite chemical exfolients our resident Clinical Nurse Specialist will complete a detailed skin analysis and create the perfect combination most appropriate for you. Our Team will choose from firm favourites such as Mandelic Acid (great starter peel – also manages Rosacea), Salicylic Acid / Pyruvic Acid (reduces oil production, inflammation, kills bacteria and stimulates collagen –great for problematic and ageing skin), Jessner Peel (a clever cocktail of three acids that address signs of ageing and sun damage), TCA Acid Eye and Lip Peel (addresses fine lines and wrinkles).
Recovery/Down Time
All of our peels use the latest ‘inner peel’ technology meaning that downtime is minimal if at all. Gone are the days of hiding away for a week while your skin visibly flakes away. We will carry out a detailed skin analysis and recommend the one that is most appropriate for you. As part of the treatment we will prep your skin, and apply the peel of choice. Skin peels can be used on the face, neck, chest, hands and back. Patients love this treatment and say their skin feels smoother and more vibrant afterwards. PRP is an incredibly versatile treatment which uses the body’s own fat and healing power from refined plasma, rich in powerful platelets.

Recovery/Down Time
There is minimal downtime after lip filler treatment – most patients simply carry on with their normal daily activities. Our Clinical Nurse Specialist will provide specific aftercare instructions. You need to be prepared for some swelling in the 24 or 48 hours after treatment, although with the more modern fillers swelling is minimised. Bruising is not common but can occur.
It is important that you inform us if you are prone to cold sores, as injections can trigger an attack. In this case we will recommend you take some preventive medication before and after treatment.
